August 31, 2007 marks the two-year anniversary celebration of my first novel A Lesson or A Blessing. At the one-year anniversary I celebrated with over 85 people at the historic Silver House Theatre in Houston, TX. Not knowing one month before the second anniversary I would hear Nnete from 97.9 The Box Houston’s #1 station for interactive Hip-Hop & R&B, announce my name as the next book club selection for the Book Break at The Breakfast Klub July 19, 2007 from 6-8 pm. Before the books inception I learned several lessons and will continue until the day I die. With that said one of the most important one’s I’ve learned thus far was what you may have for yourself, God may not have for you. So Thank God For Unanswered Prayers, in real life not for play.
